Granite Hills Credit Union

What is Granite Hills Credit Union?
State House Granite Hills Credit Union is a member-owned,
not-for-profit financial cooperative founded in Montpelier, VT in 1952.

Who can be a member?
Anyone who lives or works in Washington County is eligible to become a member. The immediate families
of the members are also eligible for membership. Immediate families are defined as related by blood, marriage, adoption or household members as defined
by Vermont Regulation B-96-2. Also eligible are employees of Select Employee Groups and their
family members.

Why do we call our "customers" members?
Our "customers" are called members as they participate in the management of the credit union.
Each member is invited to attend the annual board meeting, vote on relevant issues, and receive dividends (if applicable).

As a member, what kind of information can
I expect to receive from the Credit Union?

If you have an active share account with us, you will receive a monthly statement outlining your transactions. You will occasionally receive inserts with your statements to inform you about
specials and new product offerings. You will also receive a quarterly statement and newsletter.
You are invited to our annual meeting to meet the staff and volunteers, recap the past year's
events and learn about future initiatives.

How can I join?
If you meet the eligibility requirements, you may apply online or in person.
